I also got a B4 buggy in the deal, got it running today, its alot of fun, but will probably use the ESC and servo for the crawler. anyway, I have b...

The same Tuffone that some of you already know. I dont make a lot of comps due to work and distance, but the crawling spirit is still within my blood. I live down in the Lawton area, which is in SW OK for those that have never been west of I35. There are rocks down here, and we I hope to see some changes so that we could all do some buisness down this way. Lets Meet In The Middle.

My new Zuki

Post by Shaun on Mon Jun 15, 2009 10:22 pm

This is why I was selling off my stuff. Got a good deal on a 88 JX. It runs really strong too. The only thing I have found is a vacuum leak that was easily fixed, and a squirrel was living in the airbox. It does need a new shifter bolt, but that's the only thing it needs, other than some cleaning.

I don't have many pictures right now.

I worked on cleaning up the interior after work tonight. its looking really good, I'll get some pics tomorrow.

My plans for it, in no particular order
fix front bumper
spray fender flares, front and rear bumper black
Powder coat the rims white
loose the light gaurds
ABS interior panels
shifter bolt
bed line the floor

and a bunch of other little interior stuff to make it a comfortable daily driver and weekend wheeler. I'm going to run it stock for a while, but a locker, 31's, and a spring over is in the future. Insurance on this thing is awesome too, its just so cheap Very Happy And I'm loving the 5 speed Smile Smile

I'll give you $20 if you can fit in the back seat. I can't fit in the back seat just to give you an idea of how small it was.

Got some work done tonight, finished cleaning it up, fixed the shifter bolt, pulled off the flares and trim, cut do hinges so I can pull my doors off, just need to cut the pins now.

I think it looks better with out the light gaurds Smile

Removed the plow(hitch), like I'm ever going to tow a trailer with this thing Smile

Cleaned up the interior, haven't got the floors yet.

The worst part was the bed, it had about a 1/8th inch of dried blood on it, which was really nasty to clean up. The previous owner used it for hunting.

So I could ride in the front and my bitchie ass ego could fit in the back. That will work for me.

Yeah that will work.

Here's the shifter bolt.

Painted the flares today, spent a little over 2 hours sanding each one, not something I feel like doing again.

Yeah, some guy in OKC hooked me up alien Thumbs up Thumbs up

Went wheelin today, in Gruber.

rollmebackover let me borrow his skid, which I used alot.

Installed 2" shackles(more like rock feelers than shackles), it leveled the truck out, I also pulled the front bumper so I didn't trash it, I plan on getting a shrockworks bumper soon, or finding someone to build one.

It sucks how this picture turned out, this hill was actually really technical, but in the picture it just looks like a dirt road.

Heres a few other pictures.
